Metalloinvest Plants are Recognized as The Best Enterprises of The Mining and Metallurgical Complex of High Social Eefficiency

Enterprises Metalloinvest, a Metal-Expo regular exhibitor, – OEMK and Lebedinsky GOK – were recognized as the winners of the XX industry competition "Enterprise of the mining and metallurgical complex of high social efficiency". Oskol Electrometallurgical Combine named after A. A. Ugarov was recognized as the best in the nomination "Socio-economic efficiency of the collective agreement". Lebedinsky GOK became the first in the nomination "Environmental protection and resource conservation".

The enterprises were awarded diplomas of the Department of Metallurgy and Materials The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Association of Industrialists of the Mining and Metallurgical Complex of Russia and the Mining and Metallurgical Trade Union of Russia.

The socio-economic efficiency of the collective agreement is one of the main nominations of the competition. The jury considers and evaluates all sections of the document in a complex – provisions on wages and its indexing, on working and rest hours, on labor protection, guarantees and benefits for personnel, social programs of the enterprise.

"The high assessment of the collective agreement of OEMK allowed us to once again make sure that we work at an efficient enterprise, where not only production indicators are at the forefront, but also care for the person of labor," he said Chairman of the Belgorod Committee of the GMPR and the primary trade union organization of the OEMC Alexander Likhushin. – A collective agreement is always a certain compromise, an agreement between a trade union and an employer. Therefore, winning the competition is our joint achievement."

Boris Petrov, Chairman of the trade union organization of Lebedinsky GOK, noted that the victory of the combine in the nomination "Environmental protection and resource conservation" testifies to a responsible approach Metalloinvest is committed to environmental protection, which, despite external challenges, makes significant efforts to solve environmental problems.

The All-Russian industry competition "Enterprise of the mining and Metallurgical complex of high social efficiency" is held annually by the Association of Industrialists of the Mining and Metallurgical Complex and the Mining and Metallurgical Trade Union in coordination with the Department of Metallurgy and Materials Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. This year 49 enterprises from 21 regions of Russia took part in the competition.

The competition is aimed at studying and disseminating the experience of advanced enterprises, developing and improving forms of social partnership. Participating enterprises are evaluated based on the results of their activities in the field of work with personnel and youth, industrial safety, implementation of social programs, nature protection and resource conservation, as well as on the socio-economic effectiveness of collective agreements.
